As a social researcher, facilitator and geographer, Moritz Engbers interested in the design and implementation of inter- and transdisciplinary cooperations, the initiation of societal learning processes and the development of approaches to explore heterogeneity and difference.

Moritz Engbers works as a postdoctoral fellow in the project "Leverage Points for Sustainability Transformation" at Leuphana University Lüneburg in Germany. His focus is on the coordination of a transdisciplinary case study, mutual learning, heterogeneity, and socio-ecological transformation. In his doctoral thesis he conducted research on the topic of "Culture and Difference in Transdisciplinary Sustainability Research". Moritz Engbers studied geography with an interdisciplinary orientation at the Georg-August University Göttingen. His research interests include the design and implementation of inter- and transdisciplinary cooperations, the initiation of societal learning processes and the development of approaches to explore heterogeneity and difference.
