Rok Kranjc is a young scholar from Slovenia with a background in Analytical Sociology (BSc, Ljubljana) and Environmental Governance (MSc, Utrecht). His work and aspirations lie at the intersections of emerging alternative socio-economic and governance narratives and models, theories of change, and transdisciplinary foresight practice. He is currently pursuing the question of how and what kinds of serious games can be used as strategic tools for empowering futures-inquiry and futures-making and developing individual and collective transformative capacities; and how participatory play-testing and design of games that incorporate alternative models and theories of change help to conceive and frame systemic transformations and associated challenges, and open up and deepen alternative possible futures and pathways.
