Research Fellow in the SUSPLACE training network at the University of Latvia and coordinated by the Wageningen University, Netherlands. Background in social sciences, but dislike labels since genuine sustainability and degrowth require a complementary understanding of multiple disciplines - a knowledge that I keep trying to expand and apply.

Research Fellow in the SUSPLACE - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network (MSCA-ITN) since April 2016. Thanks to the programme re-emigrated to Latvia with a family after 8 years in the UK and Poland. Aiming to develop as a sustainability scientist together with 14 other researchers in the SUSPLACE and contribute to social change in Latvia, inspired partially by the degrowth movement. Social sciences background from studies in Latvia, Denmark, the UK and Poland and over 10 years of work experience as a researcher, analyst and evaluator. Chairman of the Latvian Permaculture Association.
