Activist Session: "Voices from the field: Solidarity Movements for Family Scale Agroecology in Central Europe and the Caribbean - Case Studies of Hungary and Haiti"
This session invites those representing, and those interested in citizen initiated agroecological solidarity movements to meet and exchange experiences, best practices and remaining challenges based on personal knowledge from their specific region of focus. The session organizers will share first hand experiences working with conscious farmer communities in Hungary. The session will also open the floor to others who have experience in the sector to share with other participants in an open, active discussion. Session organizers look forward to collaborating with additional representatives representing diverse geographic locations and aim to make parallels between farmer solidarity movements in Central Europe and beyond.
