Speaker: Iñigo Capellán Pérez
Iñigo Capellán Pérez (Valladolid, 1986) is an Industrial Engineer specialized in Energy with double diploma from University of Valladolid (Spain) and Arts-et-Métiers (ENSAM, France). He completed a Research Master in “Electrcial Energy and Sustainable Development” in ENSAM-Lille (France).
He has been working with dynamic systems energy-economy-climatic change in the University of Valladolid (i.e. WoLiM), and since 2012 he continues this line of work studying a PhD in Economics in the University of Basque Country (UPV) applying Integrated Assessment Models of Climate Change. He is interested in topics such as the energy transition to renewable energies, peak oil, climate change, global environmental change and sustainability.
Additionally, he is an active member of different associations, such as Ecologistas en Acción or renewable energy cooperatives (Som Energia, EnergÉtica) in Spain.
