Hafiz is a BCS Cadre Officer and work as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Government Edward College, Pabna. He received his BSS in Economics from Rajshahi University, his MSS in Economics from the same University. In 2011, he was awarded Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) fellowship and did his MS in Development Economics from the Graduate School for International development and Cooperation (IDEC). Hiroshima University, Japan. Recently, he did MSc in climate change and development from Independent University, Bangladesh. He is a global environmental leader recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education, culture, sports, science, and Technology.
Hafiz’s interests include Environmental and Resource economics, Ecological Economics, Econometrics, Development Economics, International Trade, and Macroeconomics.
He is a lead author of many scientific and academic journals published from different countries in the world. Recently, he won presentation award for excellent performance from Nagoya University Global Environmental Leaders Program (NUGELP).

Md. Hafiz Iqbal is a cadre officer under the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh. He presented more than 27 papers presentation at the international level. Mr. Iqbal is engaged with many professional organizations.
