Speaker: Brannon Andersen

Professor and Chair of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Furman University. Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor in the Department of Ecology, Agronomy, and Aquaculture, University of Zadar, Croatia for the 2014-2015 academic year. Developed and implemented the Bachelor of Science Degree in Sustainability Science at Furman University, the first and only degree in Sustainability Science at a liberal arts college in the United States. Research focus on human transformation of the environment, particularly the biogeochemical cycles of carbon and nitrogen in rivers and soils and measuring intensity of land use using human appropriation of net primary production.
