Speaker: Ahmet Atil Asici
Ahmet Atıl Aşıcı is an Associate Professor of Economics at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Management. He has a B.S. in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, an M.A. in Economics from Bosphorus University, a DEA degree from University of Geneva and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Geneva, Switzerland.
Aşıcı currently teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Finance and Current Macroeconomic Issues in the World Economy in the undergraduate and graduate programs at ITU.
His current research areas include topics under ecological economics, notably ecological footprint-economic growth relationship. He is the author of a range of articles in academic journals such as International Journal of Finance and Economics, Ecological Indicators.
He is a member of the European Society of Ecological Economics, and editorial board member of the International Journal of Green Economics.
