Version 3.2_September 2016
Speaker: Sam Bliss
I am currenty a Fulbright fellow studying ecological economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I received my Bachelor's degree in environmental economics in 2013. Fully convinced that markets could save us, I then began to read critiques of neoclassical theory from many perspectives -- behavioral, ecological, Marxist, feminist, and seemingly every social science. Now my interests include contributing to the economic theory of degrowth, studying 'environmental' inequality, and debunking ecomodernism.
You can read more than you ever wanted to know about me in my story for the degrowth blog.
