Speaker: Melinda Mihály
I am a PhD candidate of the Leipzig University (Department of Geography), focusing on community enterprises in Germany and Hungary. My aim is to understand how community enterprises of structurally weak regions of Hungary and Germany cope with peripheralisation. I am interested in community enterprises that aim to empower the population of rural settlements.
I am a research fellow of the international research project "RegPol²" (Socio-economic and Political Responses to Regional Polarisation in Central and Eastern Europe). Webpage: http://www.regpol2.eu/
